Pissouri Village is situated on the hillside about 5 minutes drive from the villa.  This retains a traditional Cypriot atmosphere but also has a bakery, butcher's shop, amphitheatre (with regular performances) and excellent restaurants set around a small square.  Pissouri has an excellent climate from March to the end of October with a good sea breeze in the afternoons, particularly in July and August.  This makes the Summer temperatures bearable and provides sailing conditions most afternoons for intermediate and advanced sailors, with lighter winds in the morning for the less experienced.  The 5* Columbia Beach Resort is situated on the beach and provides 5* facilities including a relaxing atmosphere for coffee, drinks, meals etc.  Spa treatments and daily passes for the gym and sports facilities are usually available.

The villa is about twenty five minutes drive from Paphos airport and one hour fifteen minutes from Larnaca airport.  The major resorts/towns of Paphos and Limassol are each 30 minutes away, the Troodos mountains, an hour and a half, and two golf courses are 15 minutes drive.
